What we did:

Realisation of the automation and electrical system in the factory Antico Forno a Legna, in Mortara (PV). Delivery and installation of automation cabinets of a system governing dough preparation for an industrial oven. The system includes a 2-door cabinet and cables elevator for automation and control of power switches, a PLC Siemens S7-1200, analogical or digital communication (4-20mA) between devices and devices connected to the PLC through Modbus RTU. The system is divided into two lines for the preparation of distinct kinds of dough. Line monitoring and control is run by 2 PC Panels (one for each line), communicating with PLC via Ethernet (exchanging alert and alarm notifications) and with other devices and the weighting unit via Modbus, specifically to dose water and oil.

The system allows recipes automation for different kinds of dough, speeding up the whole process of dosing and mixing. An overview of past production is also available to the system, in order to steadily improve future production.
